This page explains how billing works for SaveResume Pro, and what to expect if you want to cancel or request a refund.
How billing works
SaveResume Pro plans include an introductory trial period at a reduced price. After the trial ends, your plan automatically renews at the regular price shown at checkout (currently $4.99/month or $39.99/year) unless you cancel before the trial ends. Billing is handled securely by PayPal; SaveResume does not store your full payment details.
Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel automatic renewal at any time from your account page, with no phone call or email required. Once cancelled:
- You keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
- You will not be charged again after that period ends.
- Your resumes and cover letters remain saved and editable — cancelling Pro only affects PDF/DOCX export, not your saved content.
Refunds
Because SaveResume Pro grants immediate access to unlimited exports as soon as you subscribe, charges are generally non-refundable once billed — including trial charges and renewal charges. We know that's not what every visitor wants to hear, so a few specific things worth knowing:
- If you're charged in error, or a renewal charge went through after you'd already cancelled, contact us and we'll look into it and make it right.
- If you believe a charge was unauthorized, you're always welcome to also raise it directly with PayPal.
- We review refund requests individually and may issue a refund at our discretion even outside the situations above, particularly for genuine billing mistakes.
To request a refund or ask about a specific charge, email us at brandon@saveresume.com with the email address on your account, and we'll get back to you.
Failed or disputed payments
If a renewal payment fails, PayPal may retry the charge; if it continues to fail, your Pro access may be paused until billing is resolved. If you dispute a charge directly with PayPal or your bank, your Pro access may be suspended while the dispute is reviewed.
Questions
If anything here is unclear, or your situation doesn't quite fit the cases above, just email us at brandon@saveresume.com — we'd rather sort it out directly than have you guess.
